Providers

  • 'Chips with Everything' is a newsletter produced by the ICT and Learning team at NIACE as part of the communications plan to ensure that adult learning practitioners are aware of the benefits of e-learning.

    The latest edtion, is available here. This edition also contains a special supplement.

    The latest edition of Tutor News is available and previous issues can be found in the archived items section.

    On Course is the newsletter through which we share some of the impact that ACLS courses have on individuals and groups. To view the most recent edition click here. Previous editions are available in Archived items.

    ACLS supports many groups to access funding to deliver learning opportunities to local people.

    Useful links provides information about the range of organisations ACLS works with, including the LSC, providers of Information and Advice, E:learning, Quality, as well as profiles of some of our learning providers.

    You can access ACLS Policies, Forms, Procedures and Guidance Notes through our ACLS class paperwork page. This page has all the essential forms for running an ACLS course.

    The Provider Handbook summarises the main responsibilities of providers relating to the delivery of ACLS courses.

    The Service now has a team of 10 E-Guides. Their role is to support tutors to improve the quality of teaching and learning by using Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

  • ILT Loan Equipment

    ACLS has a range of ILT equipment available for loan to support teaching and learning. Some of this equipment is already placed with our larger providers whilst some is retained by the Service for loan.

    To request the loan of equipment, please complete the Issue and Return Form.
