 16/08/2016Nottinghamshire County Council started procurement for delivery of community learning from May 2016 for delivery of the 2016/17 Skills Funding Agency Community Learning Contract. Call Off One was held earlier this year (allocation results available as Allocation - Call-off 1.pdf) and Call Off 2 is due to open shortly. Please note the indicative timeline below:

Please note only organisations which have successfully applied to join the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) by 22nd August 2016 will be able to respond to the Call Off 2 invitation to tender which is due to be issued on 26th August. Organisations which have already successfully applied to join this DPS will be contacted via Due North automatically when the Call Off 2 opportunity is published and do not need to complete another DPS application unless anything has changed since the first application. Pre Market Engagement Event Thursday 12th May 2016:
Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) will be procuring delivery of community learning from May 2016 for delivery of the 2016/17 Skills Funding Agency Community Learning Contract. NCC aims to ensure that local people have access to an appropriate range of flexible community learning opportunities that contribute to personal, social, educational and economic development, under key themes of Employability, Health and Wellbeing and Family Learning. The NCC Procurement Team and CLASS will be holding a pre market engagement event on Thursday 12th May starting at 13:30 and ending at 15:30 in the Talbot Suite, Rufford Mill. The event will outline the procurement process for Community Learning for 16/17. Booking essential via acls@nottscc.gov.uk.

2016/17 Update:
The CLASS management team is currently reviewing 16/17 Funding rules and related ESIF guidance documents to prepare for the 16/17 commissioning round.  At this stage we can confirm that the total available funding for 2016/17 will be the same as in 2015/16.  However as previously outlined, the intention is to introduce  an element of direct delivery within our offer. As soon as the current ‘in year’ commissioning process has been finalised and evaluated, work will begin on the 2016/17 commissioning round. We anticipate publication of tender documents by the end of April, with an end of May return date, to enable all applicants to be notified of the outcome by the end of June. Please note that details of the above proposals are subject to sign off by the relevant NCC and Inspire Governance boards and further details will be confirmed as soon as they are available.
